Mercedes-Benz Tele Aid Overview
If you need emergency assistance, information, or Roadside Assistance, Mercedes-Benz Tele Aid can provide you with all of this at the push of a button. Through the use of satellites and wireless telecommunications, our trained specialists will respond to your in-vehicle security and other needs around the clock.1

Push the SOS button when you need emergency assistance or you see someone who does. You'll automatically reach a Tele Aid Response Center operator who can notify the police, paramedics, or other emergency personnel. And, if your air bags deploy or the seat-belt Emergency Tensioning Device is activated, your vehicle automatically notifies the Tele Aid Response Center. If we can't establish voice contact, we'll notify the appropriate emergency services of your location.
Push the wrench button if you get a flat tire, run out of gas, or see a warning light on your dash, and you'll be connected to Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance. Your Tele Aid system will automatically transmit information about your vehicle and your location. Service personnel will help identify the trouble and dispatch Roadside Assistance to your location if necessary.
Push the i-button and you can be connected to the Customer Assistance Center. They'll be ready to answer any questions you may have about your Mercedes-Benz, from how to set the buttons on your radio to the compression ratio of your engine. Dealer Connect can put you in touch with your preferred or closest Mercedes-Benz dealership or service department during regular business hours to schedule an appointment. The Concierge service, available with the Concierge Package4, can recommend a restaurant, make reservations, look up a phone number, order airline tickets, or even send flowers to a special someone. The i-button can also put you in touch with trained specialists who can provide you with Route Assistance and Traffic Information.
How Mercedes-Benz Tele Aid Works
When you press any of the three Mercedes-Benz Tele Aid buttons in your vehicle, your call is answered by a professional Response Specialist who automatically identifies your location (where GPS is available) in order to dispatch Roadside Assistance, notify emergency personnel, provide Route Assistance2 and Traffic Information3, or respond to other needs. There's also Automatic Collision Notification. In the event that your air bags deploy or the Seat Belt Emergency Tensioning Device is activated, your vehicle automatically notifies the Mercedes-Benz Tele Aid Response Center. Even if you can't push a button, you'll know that help is on the way.

Mercedes-Benz Tele Aid Packages
The Mercedes-Benz Security & Care Package9 includes Automatic Collision Notification, SOS/Emergency Services, Stolen Vehicle Recovery, Remote Door Unlock, Anti-Theft Alarm Notification10, Route Assistance2, and Dealer Connect. Upgrade to the Luxury & Convenience Package and, in addition to the Security & Care services listed above, you'll receive unlimited access to Voice-Delivered Traffic, Route Assistance2 and In-Vehicle and Online Concierge Service.
Insurance Discounts
Many insurance providers offer discounts for having Mercedes-Benz Tele Aid, an actively monitored stolen vehicle recovery system. Check with your insurance provider, as discounts and availability vary.11

- Service operates only where cellular and Global Positioning System coverage are available. Subject to terms and conditions of Subscriber Agreement.
- Route Assistance is limited to available digitized map data, which does not include all areas or routes within area. Unlimited usage included as part of a paid Luxury & Convenience Package. Subject to Terms & Conditions of Agreement. Additional per use charge applies when used with the Security & Care package.
- Traffic information is available in over 100 cities and is based on available broadcast data and is not available in all areas. Performance of the automated voice system varies depending on the noise level in and around the vehicle. Reports provided based on your vehicle's current location (within a pre-defined radius) or along any of up to five regular commutes that you program at the Tele Aid website. Service only available as part of the Luxury & Convenience package.
- Active Tele Aid Security & Care subscription (with signed Subscriber Agreement) required to upgrade service. Subject to terms and conditions of Subscriber Agreement. Luxury & Convenience Package upgrade available for first year on new vehicles for $210. Subsequent years of Security & Care package available at $240 and Luxury & Convenience (which include Security & Care package features) available at $450 annually.
- Owner must file stolen vehicle police report, authorize stolen vehicle recovery by calling the Tele Aid Response Center, and provide password and stolen vehicle police report number to Tele Aid Response Agent.
- Password required to activate Remote Door Unlock
- Dealer must participate in Dealer Connect Program.
- Concierge service only available with Luxury & Convenience Package.
- Completed Tele Aid Subscriber Agreement required. First year's Security & Care Package provided for new vehicles at no additional cost only with subscription and customer providing form of payment (e.g. credit card). - Anti-Theft Alarm Notification is an opt-in feature available at no additional cost. If you choose to receive this service, you will be contacted every time we receive an alarm activation signal from your vehicle.
